According to a global survey by Kline & Company, Shell will remain the world's leading global lubricant manufacturer in 2023 for the 17th time in three categories: passenger cars, trucks and industrial equipment, confirming the business's long-term commitment to its customers and reflecting the strength of its excellent product portfolio.

Shell continues to invest in premium products such as Shell Helix passenger car oil, Shell Advanced motorcycle oil, Shell Rimula truck oil, and Shell Tellus and Shell Gadus industrial oils.

Shell's primary goal remains to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050 and to help its customers reduce their carbon footprint. Shell Lubricants, for example, is reducing waste by developing sustainable packaging and circular solutions, and offering more sustainable options through its biodegradable products.

According to the latest report, Shell has maintained its leading position with a 11.6% global market share. As in the previous year, global sales were distributed almost evenly across the three segments: 35% consumer automotive, 33% industrial, and 32% commercial automotive.
